The Berenstain Bears are getting ready for Halloween. When I say the Berenstain bears I mostly mean Papa Bear because he’s all crazy about Halloween, ghosts, monsters and scary parties.
He’s like that since he was kid and this year he’s quite excited to organize the Bear Country School’s Halloween Ghost Walk.
Brother and Sister Bear are going to assist Father in his mission and they all start by going to the Party Shop.
So, spooky decorations: check! What next? Pumpkins from Farmer Ben. Not perfect ones! No, these are not scary enough. Instead he’s looking for weird shaped pumpkins.
Pumpkins check! What next? Transform them into Monsteeeeers!!
…and decorating the school, of course 
Besides the ghosts, black cats and whatever they bought from the store Papa Bear decided to have some special guests: Frankenbear Monster, Grizzula, the Bear vampire and a bear mummy. Yummy!
The costumes are next and Papa Bear is having some interesting ideas about how he’s going to look at the party: like Blackbear the Pirate!!
Of course the kids all got scared seeing him with the swords and all covered in blood. Mama Bear got really upset and took the kids away leaving Papa Bear a little disappointed.
But hey! I like the costume, don’t you?
The problem with all this excitement and intense preparations is that the night before the party Papa Bear had the most horrible nightmare ever, with all the ghosts, mummies and monsters chasing him:
I wonder if Papa Bear will go on with his plans and attend the party tomorrow night. Will he and the kids go? What would you do?
