We’re on the island of Sodor, it’s a beautiful summer day and Thomas gets filled with water (I hope you recognize him, he is a steam engine so he needs water).

Suddenly a silver blur passes with a whoosh and a clickity-clak.
“Fizzling fireboxes” peeped Thomas. “What was that???”
Oooooh, don’t worry, it wasn’t a crash or anything, just Spencer passing by, bragging about his important “job” he has to do the entire summer for the Duke and Duchess of Boxford.
You have to know, not that I am a gossip, that Spencer is very rude with other engines, calling them names and challenging poor Thomas to race around Sodor.
The problem is that Thomas sped down the hill, his brakes broke and crashed through the bushes. But hey…something is there !!!

Seems rusty and broken, but he’s really friendly and polite. His name is Hiro and his story is quite interesting.
I hope you wanna hear it cause I will tell it anyway: he has been the first steam engine in Sodor, really famous and majestic, but he broke down and nobody had the parts to fix it.
He doesn’t want to be sent to the smelting yard so he lays there, kind of…hiding, I guess. But guess what: you, me and Thomas are going to help him, aren’t we??
First, let’s find an engine:

Soon Thomas needs more help and we soon are more than we expected: Percy, the engine carrying the mail (oh, Percy has some troubles while helping us out, you have to read about that), Mavis (the engine working in the quarry) and many more.
But How about Spencer-the-evil? Well, he sees that something is happening, starts to follow Thomas and…

What are we gonna do??? Hiro’s not fully repaired and I have a feeling that Spencer is going to tell Sir Topham Hatt a distorted version of the story. We should do something!!!
Read the end of the story and find out, my friends. Learn about true friendship, team work, noble intentions and altruism.
